Outfitter Johanne Bech

Johanne Bech is one of very few full-time dog sled mushers in the world. She is amongst the most important dog sledding figures in all of Greenland and won a national prize in 2009 for her work in furthering Greenlandic culture.

During winter, she runs almost 1000 dog sledding tours per year out of Kangerlussuaq. The remainder of the year is spent in Sisimiut where her family also runs the premiere outdoor store in the Arctic Circle Region – Sisimiut Outdoor.
