Hanserak Olsen, a lifelong hunter and fisherman from the Sisimiut area, has been connected to the land and sea since childhood. Raised working with sled dog teams, he now passes this ancient tradition on to his grandchildren, teaching them how to mush and care for the dogs. He also sails visitors to meet his dogs during the summer, as they bask in freedom on one of the many small islands near town.
With his deep knowledge of the local waters and rugged backcountry, Hanserak ensures every adventure near Sisimiut is both authentic and unforgettable.
