West Greenland Wildlife
West Greenland Wildlife is a 100% Greenlandic company founded in 2018 by Leif and his wife Agathe. Their camp at Sassannguit, about 40km south of Sisimiut, is a paradise for anglers and fly fishers who want to experience the traditional fishing culture of Greenland while chasing their dream catch of Arctic Char, halibut, cod, catfish, or salmon.
Leif (former chairman of the national organisation for fishers in Greenland) and Agathe (a former government minister) have spent their lives fishing and hunting in the Sisimiut area, and are proud to introduce guests to the river that has been in the Fontain family for generations.
