Cooking arctic char on the banks of the Robinson River

Fly Fishing Robinson River

Your chance to fish one of Greenland’s finest Arctic Char rivers. The remote Robinson River, located near Kangerlussuaq, is an angler’s paradise with its numerous productive pools and fish typically weighing between 1-3 kg (some reaching up to 5 kg!).

These trips include everything you need: fishing licenses, transportation, lodging, basic food supplies, and the guidance of an experienced expert. You’ll also have the option to hot-smoke your fish. While participants are expected to help with cooking, cleaning, and general camp duties, the rest of the time is yours to test your skills against some of the best fighting fish in the world.

Erik and his wife, Louise, also own Kangerlussuaq Youth Hostel and Sisimiut Youth Hostel, where anglers can leave unnecessary travel gear before they head out to the camp.
