Polar Trophy Hunt

The local, family-run Polar Trophy Hunt is more than just trophy hunting near Kangerlussuaq. They also offer fishing (trout, halibut, wolffish) and boat charters, as well as dog sledding trips during the winter.

Amâsa is a full-time professional hunter outside of the trophy hunting seasons which run Jul-Oct (summer) and Mar-Apr (winter). Hunting trips for musk ox and reindeer (caribou) are based out of isolated camps and follow traditional, sustainable hunting practices so that nothing goes to waste.
